About the role
As our Senior FP&A Analyst, you will help drive best-practice budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting processes while delivering meaningful financial and operational insights that support executive decision-making and business accountability. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, analysing complex data and influencing business outcomes. You will work closely with senior leaders across the organisation to improve financial visibility, challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making within a dynamic and growing business.
Your accountabilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across the group.
- Provide meaningful executive and business unit reporting that highlights key performance drivers, risks and opportunities.
- Improve forecast accuracy, financial visibility and accountability across business units.
- Maintain reliable, well-governed financial models, dashboards and reporting frameworks.
- Drive reporting automation and process improvements to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, finance teams and operational leaders.

Your responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across the group.
- Develop and maintain driver-based financial models, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow and rolling forecasts.
- Design, build and deliver performance reporting, dashboards and KPI frameworks using Power BI and Excel.
- Partner with business unit leaders and finance teams to analyse performance, identify trends and challenge assumptions.
- Prepare executive-level reporting and actionable insights for the CFO, CEO and senior leadership team.
- Conduct scenario analysis, sensitivity modelling, business case development and investment evaluations.
- Analyse key financial and operational drivers including margins, cash flow, working capital, overheads and business unit performance.
- Support data governance through consistent reporting metrics, reconciliations and reporting integrity.
- Collaborate with IT, systems and data teams to improve automation, reporting efficiency and data quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting, analysis, forecasting and performance management processes.
You have:
- CA or CPA qualification.
- 5+ years’ experience in FP&A, commercial finance, management reporting or similar analytical roles.
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, planning cycles and driver-based financial modelling.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong Power BI capability, with experience working with large or complex datasets.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into practical business insights.
- Excellent critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience improving processes, automating reporting and building scalable planning or reporting frameworks.
- Experience within multi-entity, project-based, construction, infrastructure or high-growth environments will be highly regarded.
