About the role - Senior Supervisor – Tonkin Extension Alliance
After securing the Tonkin Extension Alliance Project, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Supervisor to join our friendly, hard-working team. You’ll work closely with our Superintendent and larger project team to make sure day-to-day site activities run smoothly. From managing crews and subcontractors to planning, sequencing, and keeping an eye on safety and quality, you’ll play a key role in bringing this major infrastructure project to life. It’s a fast-paced, rewarding environment where no two days are the same – and where your contribution really matters.
Key responsibilities
- Leading your section of works to achieve programme, cost and quality targets
- Coordinating labour, plant, materials and subcontractors across multiple work fronts
- Driving a strong safety culture aligned with our Safety is My Way approach
- Mentoring and developing supervisors, leading hands and crews
- Planning and sequencing works on a complex live site
- Maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders, including senior leadership and client representatives
- Contributing to daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and site coordination meetings
About you
You will ideally have:
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a civil construction supervisory role
- Strong Main Roads / WA infrastructure experience
- Exposure to earthworks, pavements, drainage, services and finishing works
- Experience managing large crews across multiple work fronts
- Bulk earthworks, haulage and placement capability
- Strong planning, coordination and problem-solving skills
- Confident, clear communication and leadership style
- A genuine commitment to safety, quality and team culture
