About the Role

Our Graduate Program, Foundations, has been uniquely designed to bridge the gap between formal education and the workforce, establishing a clear and supportive path for your professional development and long-term success at BMD. Throughout the program you will develop foundational career skills in problem solving, critical thinking, innovation and team building. 
 
As a Graduate Environmental Engineer, you’ll work closely with project teams to help implement BMD’s environmental management systems, promote compliance and uplift environmental performance on site. You’ll positively influence stakeholders to achieve best-for-project environmental outcomes.
 
This role will be apart of the project delivery team on the Palmer Wind Farm in South Australia.  This is a great opportunity to be part of a landmark renewable energy project while developing your career in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of environmental management plans and site controls
  • Assist with environmental inspections, monitoring and reporting
  • Help maintain approvals, permits and compliance documentation
  • Contribute to investigations, corrective actions and continual improvement
  • Support stakeholder engagement and environmental awareness on site
  • Prepare clear, practical communications for project teams and partners

Skills and Experience

  • A tertiary qualification in Environmental Engineering (or closely related)
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills, creative thinking and the drive to get hands-on in the field
  • Resilience, enthusiasm and a passion for teamwork to achieve positive outcomes in a deadline-driven environment
  • Willingness to DIDO to Palmer Windfarm site location
