About the Role
- Support the preparation and submission of tenders and bids for major projects
- Review and assess head contract conditions and identify commercial risks
- Assist in developing commercial strategies, pricing structures and procurement plans
- Engage with estimators and delivery teams to align scope, methodology and risk allowances
- Participate in tender clarifications, negotiations and contract award processes
- Manage head contract and subcontract lifecycle from procurement to close-out
- Lead subcontractor procurement, negotiations and award strategies
- Deliver accurate cost forecasting, reporting and commercial risk management
- Administer claims, variations, EOTs and support dispute resolution
- Ensure compliance with contractual, legal and statutory obligations
- Provide commercial advice to Project Managers and leadership teams
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners
- Proven experience in a Senior Contracts Administrator role within Tier 1 or major Tier 2 contractors
- Demonstrated success delivering large-scale infrastructure projects (road, rail, water, energy or similar)
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standard contracts (AS2124, AS4000, GC21 or similar) and commercial frameworks
- Advanced capability across procurement, cost control, forecasting, and contract risk
- Expertise managing claims, variations, and negotiations in complex environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, quantity surveying, law, commerce or a related discipline
