About the project:

Clough Projects Australia Pty Ltd and BMD Constructions Pty Ltd (CBJV) have united in a Joint Venture to deliver the Darwin Ship Lift Facility for the Northern Territory (NT) Government.

The Darwin Shiplift facility will feature the largest ship lift in Northern Australia and is designed to meet current and long-term vessel maintenance and servicing needs of the Department of Defence, Australian Border Force, general commercial and private maritime sector whilst supporting local jobs and economic growth in the Territory. 

Who we’re looking for:

CBJV are looking for Unrestricted Crane Operators to join our high performing project team based on site in the East Arm precinct of the Port of Darwin. We require candidates with experience in marine construction, experience operating cranes on floating barges, piling [both tubular and sheet piles] and drilling lifting activities.

About you

  • Experience working within the mining, construction, marine infrastructure and resources industry
  • HRWL - CO mandatory
  • Construction White Card
  • HR License (mandatory
  • A high level of motivation.
  • A strong work ethic.
  • A commitment to safe work practices.

About the role

  • 21:7 roster
  • Competitive base rate plus penalties, with additional site allowances.
  • A local role - to be home every night.
