About the Role

As a Project Engineer, you will join our growing Perth business unit and play a key role in the successful planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of civil infrastructure projects across the Perth metropolitan area and broader Western Australia.
 
Working alongside experienced project leaders, you will be responsible for managing project performance across safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes while leading engineering teams and coordinating project stakeholders.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer seeking greater responsibility, leadership exposure and the chance to contribute to some of Perth's most significant infrastructure projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of construction activities from commencement through to completion
  • Manage project safety, quality, environmental and programme objectives
  • Oversee cost control, forecasting, budgeting and project reporting
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project stakeholders
  • Drive project productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Mentor and develop Site Engineers and graduate engineers
  • Manage project documentation, procurement and contract administration activities
  • Build and maintain strong client, consultant and stakeholder relationships
  • Support Project Managers in delivering successful commercial and operational outcomes

 

Essential Skills & Experience 

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a Project Engineer role within the civil construction industry
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, planning and project delivery
  • Experience managing project costs, forecasting and commercial performance
  • Proven ability to lead engineering teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
  • A collaborative leadership style and passion for developing others
