About the Role

As a Site Engineer, you will join our growing Perth business unit and contribute to the successful delivery of a range of civil infrastructure projects across the metropolitan and regional Perth area. Working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and site teams, you will play a key role in coordinating construction activities, managing project documentation, monitoring project performance and ensuring work is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.
 
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking exposure to a diverse mix of projects while developing their technical, commercial and leadership capabilities within a respected industry leader. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily construction activities and support project delivery teams
  • Prepare and manage project documentation, including RFIs, ITPs and QA records
  • Assist with planning, programming and resource coordination
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and site productivity
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality requirements and safety standards
  • Manage cost tracking, forecasting and reporting activities
  • Support procurement and contract administration processes
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
  • Contribute to the achievement of project objectives relating to safety, quality, programme and budget

Essential Skills & Experience 

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in a Site Engineer or Project Engineer role within civil construction
  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery principles
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors and site activities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capability
  • Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop
