The Role
We’re seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer - Civil to join our team delivering the Verdun Interchange Upgrade Project in the Adelaide Hills, SA.
Reporting to the Project Director, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of major construction activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and coordinating construction activities across multiple work fronts
- Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site delivery teams
- Developing and implementing project methodologies, work packs and construction programs
- Monitoring project performance against budget, programme and productivity targets
- Providing technical leadership and mentoring to Project Engineers and Site Engineers
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, stakeholders and project partners
About You
- Degree qualification in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years' experience delivering major civil infrastructure projects, ideally across roads, highways, bridges or transport sectors
- Proven experience in a Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer role on complex infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project controls and Australian construction standards
- Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, procurement activities and project financial performance
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced project environment
